Category 01

Food Sampling

Food microbiological, chemical and other appropriately scoped sampling programs for Local Governments, food businesses and other clients across Perth and Western Australia. Sampling is planned around the purpose of the investigation, the suspected hazard and the relevant food safety standards.

Analytical parameters are selected according to the investigation and laboratory capability.

Common applications

  • Routine food surveillance
  • Food safety investigations
  • Complaint investigations
  • Coordinated Sampling Projects (CSPs)
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Food safety program support
  • Environmental swabbing
  • Shelf life testing

Category 02

Allergens Sampling

Allergens sampling and laboratory analysis can be used to investigate the presence of specified allergens in appropriately selected foods, surfaces, equipment or other relevant samples. Useful for allergen verification, cross-contact investigations and cleaning verification in food manufacturing and preparation environments across Perth and Western Australia.

Analytical parameters are selected according to the investigation and laboratory capability. Not every allergen can be detected by every method, and the appropriate test is confirmed before sampling proceeds.

Common applications

  • Allergens verification
  • Food safety investigations
  • Cross-contamination risk assessments
  • Cleaning verification
  • Food manufacturing
  • Food preparation environments
  • Complaint investigations
  • Compliance and risk assessment

Heavy Metals Sampling

Heavy metals sampling and testing across Perth and Western Australia for food, drinking water, recreational and aquatic water, soil and other environmental samples. The analytical suite is selected according to the sample type, suspected hazard and investigation objectives.

Parameters may include, where appropriate: lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, chromium, nickel, copper, zinc and other metals as required. Not all metals are included in every analysis — the suite is confirmed for each investigation.

Water sampling and water quality testing across Perth and Western Australia for drinking water, aquatic facilities, recreational water, cooling water, natural water bodies, agricultural water, wastewater, industrial process water and recycled water systems.

Analysis categories include microbiological, chemical and heavy metal testing, with other parameters selected according to risk and purpose. Water testing should be selected according to the source, intended use, potential hazards and investigation objectives rather than a generic test panel for every situation.

Water types

  • Cooling water
  • Natural bodies of water
  • Agricultural water
  • Wastewater and industrial process water
  • Re-used and recycled water systems

EnviroHealth Solutions does not undertake licensed asbestos removal. Sampling is conducted using appropriate precautions, and results are interpreted in the context of the investigation.
